University of Minnesota Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Endowment Campaign

Oral and Maxillofacial SurgeryThe Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry can boast of its legacy but it also must secure its future. For more than a century, the dental school has been continuously dedicated to educating an outstanding cadre of oral and maxillofacial surgeons.

Today, the School of Dentistry seeks to enhance the excellence of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program and strengthen it for the future by creating an endowment funded with private contributions. Once the division is able to offer the substantial resources of an endowed fund—at least $1.5 million to advance education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery—it can better recruit and retain talented faculty members who will teach the next generation.

The need is great, as recruiting oral and maxillofacial surgery faculty is a critical challenge nationally. The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division head will use the endowment to support and reward the best faculty to teach and advise residents in this demanding program. Please step forward and make a generous commitment to strengthen this important program and help assure a bright future for the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the dental school.

Goal: $1.5 million endowment to be used to advance education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
