Alumni Society

Our mission

The mission of the School of Dentistry Alumni Society is to: 1) link alumni to the School of Dentistry and the University, 2) generate alumni pride and support, 3) affect School of Dentistry and University policy, and 4) improve the student experience.

In an effort to re-bond with as many School of Dentistry alumni as possible, the School of Dentistry Alumni Society is involved in:

• membership drives
• reunion assistance
• receptions at special events held both locally and out of state
• social networking events such as the annual Alumni Golf Classic

The School of Dentistry Alumni Society is also involved in a wide variety of successful initiatives to help improve the dental and dental hygiene student experience including:

• cosponsoring the Senior Recognition Banquet
• sponsoring the White Coat Ceremony
• awarding scholarships annually to dental and dental hygiene students
• raising funds to purchase graduation caps and gowns for all graduating dental and dental hygiene students
