Both to fulfill the various needs at the School, and to encourage donors to achieve the proper satisfaction from their giving, there are many levels for contributing to the School of Dentistry.
The Annual Fund encourages cyclical giving to programs throughout the School.
Projects arise over the years that need an extra effort on the part of the donor. When the needs of the School and the means of particular donors match, major gifts, recognized by the University of Minnesota Presidents Club, create the programs to give the margin of excellence that makes a great university.
An estate plan, beyond providing for families, can take advantage of generous tax situations by making provisions for charitable bequests, charitable trusts, and other investments. With the correct planning, a donor can achieve the level of philanthropist.
All gifts to the School of Dentistry are receipted by the University of Minnesota Foundation. All gifts are deductible in accordance with the income tax situation of the donor.
