| As we embark on a capital campaign to build the Simulation Clinic, we are counting on your generous support to make this vision a reality. Our goal is to raise $10.5 million to help the School of Dentistry maintain its leading edge in clinical dental education.
Already we have concluded the first phase of design and construction specifications. And, in an unprecedented move, the University of Minnesota has committed to funding one-third of the project’s demolition, construction and equipment cost. Now we must enlist the support of private donors like you.
Dentistry has given you a good life: enduring friendships, a rewarding career, and the knowledge that you help people every day. Please consider giving back. Private donors provide vital leverage in securing matching financial pledges. And projects of this magnitude require, from the beginning, a committed partnership comprised of all sectors—private, government, academic, industry. Only if we work together will we accomplish our goal.
You can contribute in a variety of ways to this exciting new addition to the School of Dentistry. If you have questions about which method of giving is right for you, feel free to contact us.
All gifts to the School of Dentistry Simulation Clinic are receipted by the University of Minnesota Foundation and qualify as charitable contributions to the IRC Sec. 501(c)(3) public charity for federal income, estate and gift tax purposes. Gifts or pledges of $25,000 or more also qualify for the University Presidents Club, which recognizes the University’s most generous benefactors in an annual published roster and in the Hall of Honor in the McNamara Alumni Center on the Twin Cities campus.
