For the 2017 fiscal year, total resident tuition (including School of Dentistry fees, University student fees, health insurance, and long term disability) less dental fellow tuition benefit, scholarship, and health insurance support, equals $14,150.35 in estimated student responsibility payments per academic year. In addition to receiving scholarships and benefits, the resident will receive an annual stipend for teaching of $9,662.00 paid biweekly. Tuition is lower in the first year of the program due to starting the program in the middle of the summer semester.  The difference between the tuition expenses ($14,150.35) and the paid stipend salary ($9,662.00) equals $4,488.35 for out-of-pocket expenses in year one.  Non-residents of Minnesota, including international students, will have a waiver added to their student accounts so the tuition will equal the resident rate.
