About the program

University-Based Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry

Dentists may earn a university certificate in contemporary restorative and esthetic dentistry in addition to mastership credit for the Academy of General Dentistry and continuing education credit for relicensure requirements. Application and admission to the certificate program is possible after completing the Postgraduate Program in Contemporary, Esthetic & Implant Dentistry: Level I.

PLEASE NOTE: After 20 years, we are beginning to phase out the Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry. 2016-2017 will be the last year that you will be able to attend the Level I Lecture/Laboratory Series, a prerequisite for the 500-hour certificate program. If you participate in the final 2016-2017 final Level I Series, you still have the opportunity to take the Level II Patient Series and complete all requirements for the 500-hour university-based Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry.

500-hour Certificate Program Requirements

Postgraduate Program in Contemporary, Esthetic & Implant Dentistry: Level I—Lecture/Laboratory Series
1) November 11-13, 2016; 2) January 13-15, 2017; 3) February 10-12, 2017; 4) April 7-9, 2017; and 5) May 5-7, 2017
2016-2017 WILL BE THE FINAL OFFERING OF THE LEVEL I SERIES.

Postgraduate Program in Contemporary, Esthetic & Implant Dentistry: Level II—The Patient Series
1) November 11-13, 2016; 2) January 13-15, 2017; 3) January 26-28, 2017 at the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad, California; 4) February 10-12, 2017; and 5) April 7-9, 2017
THE LEVEL II PATIENT SERIES (THAT INCLUDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SURGICAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT) WILL BE HELD IN 2016-2017 AND THE FINAL OFFERING IN 2017-2018

Postgraduate Program in Contemporary and Esthetic Dentistry: Level III—The Modular Series
(A total of 7 modules)
THE LEVEL III MODULES WILL BE EACH BE OFFERED ONE MORE TIME THROUGH 2019.
