Would you like to satisfy your core competency requirements for Minnesota relicensure in just one day? Would you like to receive clinically relevant information that you can apply immediately in practice?

This timely continuing dental education course will give you important updates in four of the six core competency credit subject areas defined by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry: 1) ethics related to professional boundaries, 2) infection control related to the handling of hazardous waste, 3) medical emergency management tips, and 4) diagnosis and treatment planning for dental caries in children. Your entire dental team will benefit from receiving practical tips, strategies and techniques for addressing the many dilemmas common to clinical dental practice.

Taking part in this program will give you the information needed to:

  • maintain appropriate professional boundaries with patients and co-workers.
  • prepare your dental practice for a deficiency-free hazardous waste inspection.
  • develop an emergency response plan for your dental office.
  • select the most appropriate caries intervention strategy - topical vs. restorative - based on lesion type.
Who Should Attend

Dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and assistants who would like to fulfill their core competency requirements for Minnesota relicensure and obtain concise and practical updates.
