Practical Periodontics: A Hands-On Nonsurgical Program

Final registration will begin at 7:30 AM on Wednesday.
Continental breakfast will be available during registration on Wednesday and on all subsequent days.
The program will run from 8:00 AM to to 5:15 PM each day.
There will be a 15-minute refreshment break mid-morning and mid afternoon.
Lunch is included and will be served between 12:15 and 1:00 PM each day.
If you have special dietary needs or are disabled and have special needs, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the program date.
What to Wear
We suggest that you bring a jacket or sweater to help you adjust to the seemingly inevitable changes in meeting room temperature.
Clinic attire must include pants and closed-toe leather shoes. The School of Dentistry will provide over-garments that comply with OSHA standards for infectious disease control and general safety. Non-latex gloves and masks, and protective eyewear with side shields will also be provided. If you have special glove or mask needs, please bring them with you.
A full refund will be issued if you cancel at least 30 days before the program. If you cancel less than one month prior to the program a $100 processing fee will be deducted from your refund. For registrations charged to your credit card the refund will be credited to your account. No cash refunds will be issued on charged registrations.
The School of Dentistry will provide patients and instrument kits for the clinical sessions involving patient care. However, we request that you bring a set of previously sharpened dental hygiene or periodontal therapy kits with sharpening stones from your practice so we may assist you in identifying proper and improper sharpening techniques.
Parking is available in the Washington Avenue Ramp. The Washington Avenue Ramp is located at Washington Ave. SE and Harvard St. SE.
You will need to push the button on the stationary box in order to receive a parking slip and activate the gate. Detailed instructions for exiting the ramp will be provided during the program. Parking charges will be billed to Continuing Dental Education. If EVENT PARKING is in place as you enter the ramp, please inform the attendant that you are attending a Continuing Dental Education conference in the School of Dentistry and that parking has been reserved for you.
PLEASE NOTE: If you park anywhere besides the Washington Ave. Ramp, you will be responsible for the parking fees.
The Commons Hotel Guests Only: If you are staying at the Commons Hotel (formerly the Radisson University Hotel), we encourage that you make parking reservations directly with the hotel. We cannot validate parking for overnight stays. Validated parking is only available during course hours.
