Jeanne Anderson completed both her Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Minnesota . She has been on the School of Dentistry faculty since 1988 with special teaching interests in dental anatomy, pain management, periodontics, and leadership and professional development. Aside from didactic and clinical teaching, she is an advocate for policies to promote access to oral health care. In 2006 Ms. Anderson received the Distinguished Dental Hygiene Alumna award from the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. She was also honored with the Member of the Year award in 1996 from the Minnesota Dental Hygienists Association and several Faculty of the Year awards for teaching. Service activities include School of Dentistry and state committee memberships and leadership positions within professional associations. Favorite outdoor activities include kayaking, biking and gardening.
