Bio Statement

Dr. De Felippe received her dental degree from Universidade de Brasilia in 2000. Soon after, she received a fellowship in Craniofacial Orthodontics at the Craniofacial Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Subsequently, she completed the advanced education program in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral sciences. Upon graduation as a specialist, she became a full-time faculty in the Department of Orthodontics at UIC and two years later was promoted to Chief Orthodontist at the Craniofacial Center. Dr. De Felippe received her Board Certification in 2006 and is licensed to practice orthodontics in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Presently, she is the Course Director of Preclinical and Clinical Orthodontic Courses for dental students, a clinical instructor for orthodontic residents, and a private practitioner of orthodontics and craniofacial orthodontics in the Twin Cities.
