Bio Statement

Dr. Zidan is born in Cairo, Egypt where he received his undergraduate education. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French and has a good command of Danish. He received his post graduate education in Egypt, Denmark and the United Stares. Presently, he is an associate professor, Division of Operative Dentistry, Department of Restorative Sciences in the School of Dentistry, University of Minnesota.

Dr. Zidan research focus on the area of resin bonding and it's clinical applications. He authored/co-authored several publications in this field. His main activites focus on undergraduate education. He directs a course on how to use evidence-based dentistry to formulated clinical decisions in the area of Restorative Dentistry. Also, He directs a course to train the undergraduate on how to fabricate CadCam Cerec restorations. His clinical teaching activites focus on assisting undergraduate students with esthetic cases.

He is often invited to the middle east to lecture and offer hand-on courses on contemporary topics and esthetic dentistry.
