Teaching Experience:
Teaching experience includes six years as Chief of
Endodontics for the Advanced Education Program in
General Dentistry at Ft. Knox, KY and Ft. Bragg,
NC; Graduate Endodontic Program Director at the
University of Minnesota School of Dentistry
August 2000 - November 2005; currently Director of Undergraduate Endodontics.
Honors & Awards:
Received many honors and awards while on active
duty with the US Army Dental Corps to include the
Legion of Merit medal; Meritorious Service medal;
Army Commendation medal; Airborne medal and the
Expert Field Medical Badge medal.

Brief Biographical Data:
Dr. Baisden received his BS in biology from St.
Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin 1974; was
awarded a DDS from Marquette University in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin 1979; entered the US Army
Dental Corp as a general dentist at the rank of
Captain in 1979; accepted into specialty training
July 1989 and received an endodontic certificate
July 1991 at Ft. Gordon, Georgia; became board
certified in the specialty of endodontics in May
1995; retired after 21 years of military service
from the US Army Dental Corps at the rank of
Colonel October 2000; became graduate endodontic
program director at the University of Minnesota
August 2000 until November 2005; currently Director of Undergraduate Endodontics.
