Quintessence International Award for excellence in Operative Dentistry
Journal of the American College of Cardiology, "Effect of Verapamil on pH of Ischemic Canine Myocardium" acknowledged for technical assistance.


Brief Biographical Data:


Dr. Schulz is an Associate Clinical specialist and the Director of the Mobile Dental Program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has held that position since 2002.

Dr. Schulz began his full time position at the school of Dentistry after 13 years of full time clinical dentistry at a local community clinic. He was employed part-time as a faculty in the admissions clinic for 5 years, previous to full time employment at the School of Dentistry. He received the "Quintessence International Award" for Excellence in Operative Dentistry in 1986. He also received acknowledgement for his technical assistance from the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, for his work on: "Effects of Verapamil on pH of Ischemic Canine Myocardium", while working at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Schulz is a Board member at Herzing College for its programs in Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene.
