Brief Biographical Data:


Dr. Swift was born and raised in northeastern Iowa and attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. He completed his dental school studies at the University of Iowa, his General Practice Residency at Oklahoma Children's Memorial Hospital, and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.

After having served as an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry for four years, Dr. Swift came to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1989, where he continues to serve as the Director of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
