Three School of Dentistry faculty members recognized

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the University of Minnesota Board of Regents has recognized the varied and significant contributions of three School of Dentistry faculty members. The Regents approved promotions for the following individuals who were recognized at the University's Promotion and Tenure Reception on May 17 at McNamara Alumni Center. Our sincere congratulations to:

  • Shelley Grimes, Ph.D., (Diagnostic/Biol Sci - Institute for Molecular Virology) who was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure;
  • Scott McClanahan, D.D.S., M.S., (Restorative Sci-Endodontics) from associate professor with tenure to professor with tenure;
  • Wei Zhang, PhD (Diagnostic/Biol Sci-Basic Sciences) from research assistant professor to research associate professor.
