Sven Gorr receives NIDCR/ARRA Funding

Congratulations to Sven Gorr who received NIDCR/ARRA funding as a co-investigator with UCLA scientists David Wong and Steve Horvath to study a “Systems Approach to Sjogren’s Syndrome Pathogenesis.” This is a novel research project to discover key molecular targets responsible for the development of Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disease that affects the salivary glands. New knowledge about these molecular targets will allow development of better diagnostics, therapeutics and prognostics for this disease.
