Dr. Ranier M. Adarve Joins School of Dentistry Faculty

Dr. Ranier M. Adarve has accepted an invitation to join the School of Dentistry faculty in the Division of Prosthodontics as assistant professor. Dr. Adarve was most recently an assistant professor in the Dept. of Restorative Sciences at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. Dr. Adarve received his doctor of dental medicine and masters' in health professions education degrees from the University of the Philippines, as well as a certificate in prosthodontics and a master in the science of dentistry degree from the University of Minnesota. He also completed a certificate in multimedia design and development from the University of Minnesota's College of Education. Dr. Ardave has a background in dental informatics, and his current interest is developing teaching and learning tools using technology to enhance learning. His appointment is effective Sept. 1, 2007.
