The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry's Alex Fok, Ph.D., director of the Minnesota Dental Research Center for Biomaterials and Biomechanics, was recently featured by the University of Minnesota Academic Health Center as an AHC Gamechanger.

Under Fok's leadership, the MDRCBB has created partnerships with 3M, Ormco, Mozo Grau, and General Mills. The MDRCBB recently was awarded the 2013 William J. Gies Award for Vision, Innovation and Achievement for Outstanding Vision - Public or Private Partner.
