Naty Lopez, Assistant Dean for Admissions and Diversity for the School of Dentistry, is one of two individuals selected to receive the Lillian H. Williams Award, named in honor of Lillian H. Williams, founding director of the University of Minnesota’s Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action.

The award was established in 1986 to recognize individuals and units within the University community who exemplify Ms. Williams's spirit and commitment to equal opportunity and affirmative action, and who show deep involvement in an initiative that supports EOAA’s goal of promoting a University culture where students, staff and faculty succeed professionally and thrive educationally. She received the award October 9 in a ceremony at Coffman Memorial Union.
