For the School of Dentistry’s Donald Simone, a choice between a work-study job at the Northeastern University cafeteria and one in a neuroscience lab led to a lifelong journey of learning and discovery.

The University of Minnesota’s “Discover” blog follows the story of Dr. Simone; his journey from psychology undergraduate student to interim chair of the School of Dentistry’s Department of Diagnostic and Biological Sciences and the importance of being exposed to research as an undergrad.
