Rice Regional Dental Clinic

Rice Memorial Hospital has developed a ten chair dental clinic within their hospital.  This clinic is designed to treat many of the underserved patients in a surrounding twelve county area.  Dental and Dental Hygiene students from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry will provide care to these patients in collaboration with Rice Hospital and the School of Dentistry.  Most students who rotate to this Outreach site will spend four weeks treating patients, providing dental education, promoting dental careers and will be exposed to the opportunities of dental careers in greater Minnesota. This Outreach clinic will provide students valuable exposure to a diverse patient population.
