Rice Regional Dental Clinic
Rice Memorial Hospital has constructed a ten chair dental clinic within their hospital. This clinic is designed to treat many of the underserved patients in a surrounding 17 county area. Dental, dental therapy, and dental hygiene students from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry will provide care to patients in collaboration with Rice Hospital and the School of Dentistry. Most students who rotate to this Outreach site will spend four weeks treating patients, providing dental education, promoting dental careers and will be exposed to life and practice in greater Minnesota. This Outreach clinic will provide students valuable exposure to a diverse patient population.
