| The Faculty Practice
Clinic is a state of the art facility. It provides dental care in a
private practice setting at the University of Minnesota Dental Clinics.
Faculty practitioners are actively engaged in dental education and
research as well as in the practice of dentistry. The Clinic provides
consultative services for the members of the dental profession and can
provide expert second opinions on treatment options for patients.
Faculty practitioners provide a full complement of dental services
including periodontics (gum care), endodontics (root canal therapy),
pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics (replacement of missing teeth using
dentures, bridges, implants), therapy for tempromandibular joint and
facial pain, oral medicine and pathology and general restorative and
preventive procedures. A list of the faculty practitioners is provided
below, including each members' area of expertise.
