Welcome to the School of Dentistry clinics
Who we are and what we do
At the University of Minnesota Dental Clinics we provide general and specialty dental care in association with the School of Dentistry's educational programs. Each year, there are more than 100,000 patient visits in the dental clinics which are located in Moos Health Sciences Tower on the East Bank of the Minneapolis East Bank Campus.
After your initial visit to the School of Dentistry student clinics, you will be assigned to a comprehensive care group if your treatment needs are withing the parameters of the educational program. Fees are typically about 30% less than private practice fees and the School of Dentistry take most dental insurance plans and most Minnesota Health Care Programs dental plans. In the student clinics, you will be treated by a third- or fourth-year predoctoral student under the supervision of an experienced faculty member who personally checks each part of the procedure. Because of the focus on education, please prepare additional time for diagnosis and treatment.
