Payment and financing options with the School of Dentistry

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry now accepts payments online. To pay your bill online, please click on the "Pay Now" button below.

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry accepts cash and credit cards at the time of your appointment and student clinic fees typically run 30% less than what you may find with a private practice dentist. Please do not hesitate to ask our staff about making dental care affordable and working on financial plans so you can receive the dental care you need.

Gold and fixed prosthodontics requires one-third of the payment down before treatment, one-third of the payment halfway through treatment, and the balance prior to completion. Removable prosthodontics requires one-third of the payment down before treatment, one-third at the teeth selection appointment, and the balance at the time of denture insertion.

The University of Minnesota also accepts most private insurance plans, as well as Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care. Please call the Patient Accounting Office at 612-624-6110 for more information or to know if your specific plan is accepted at the University of Minnesota Dental Clinics.
