Application information

Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota. It is always a pleasure to encourage individuals to pursue this fascinating field of dentistry.

Interested applicants need to apply through the ADEA Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS) at Information on application requirements and fees can be found at the following ADEA PASS program page.

We encourage you to submit your application in early July and will offer a one-week externship to highly qualified individuals (top 1/3 of their dental school) and applicants with a great interest in periodontics. The deadline to submit applications and all required supplemental materials is August 1.

International applicants whose primary language is not English are required to submit a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score taken within two years of their application deadline. Applicants must achieve a minimum > 102 IBT scored to be considered by the admission committee.
