Application information

Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota. It is always a pleasure to encourage individuals to pursue this fascinating field of dentistry.

Interested applicants need to apply through the ADEA Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS) at www.adea.org/PASSapp. Information on application requirements and fees can be found at the following ADEA PASS program page.

We encourage you to submit your application in early July and will offer a one-week externship to highly qualified individuals (top 1/3 of their dental school) and applicants with a great interest in periodontics. The deadline to submit applications and all required supplemental materials is August 1.

International applicants whose primary language is not English are required to submit a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score taken within two years of their application deadline. Applicants must achieve a minimum > 102 IBT scored to be considered by the admission committee.

If you have any additional questions, please contact the program administrative specialist, Josette Fontana, at jfontana@umn.edu

Sincerely,

James E. Hinrichs, D.D.S., M.S.
