The Office of Admissions and Diversity oversees advising for prospective students and manages the admissions processes for the D.D.S. and Dental Hygiene programs. Group advising sessions are hosted by the Office of Admissions and Diversity staff on a monthly basis. These sessions begin with a 30-minute presentation and afterwards, an admissions representative is available to answer individual questions, review transcripts, etc. Please pre-register (www.healthcareers.umn.edu) for an advising session to learn more about becoming a qualified candidate for the D.D.S. program. Space is limited for each session. Please bring a copy of your transcripts from all colleges attended to the advising session.
Biennially the Office of Admissions and Diversity hosts a Career Day program for prospective dental and dental hygiene applicants. Prospective applicants, friends of the school, alumni and others are encouraged to visit during this Saturday event to learn more about these careers and to tour the school. Please watch the web site for more information on this event.
