Bachelor of Science in Dental Therapy Program

Students enter the University of Minnesota dental therapist program after completing one year of prerequisite college coursework.  The year-round program allows students to complete a bachelor of science degree in 40 months, providing maximum opportunities for those eager to start their dental therapy careers.  The program is the only midlevel provider education in country that grants a baccalaureate degree and is affiliated with an accredited school of dentistry.  Dental therapy students take several courses with dental and dental hygiene students, and all students learn together in School of Dentistry clinics, which model a general practice.
