Bachelor of Science in Dental Therapy Program

Students enter the University of Minnesota Dental Therapy Program after completing one year of prerequisite college coursework. The 28 month year-round program allows students to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in as little as 40 months, providing maximum opportunities for those eager to start their dental therapy careers. The program is the only midlevel provider education in country that grants a baccalaureate degree and is affiliated with an accredited school of dentistry. Dental therapy students take several courses with dental and dental hygiene students, and all students learn together in School of Dentistry clinics, which model a general practice.

Applications for the class that will start in fall 2012 will be accepted starting December 15, 2011 and ending on March 15, 2012.
