Dental Hygiene Student Council/School of Dentistry Council of Students
Students in the Program in Dental Hygiene are represented by the elected officers from each class. These officers represent fellow students on the Dental Hygiene Student Council and on the School of Dentistry Council of Students. The purpose of each council is to promote student-faculty relationships, to provide student input to the program/school, and to stimulate social and educational activities. Class officers also represent dental hygiene and dental students on the School of Dentistry Student Affairs Committee.

Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA)
The Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA) is your first link to the dental hygiene profession. Membership in SADHA joins you with an organization of dental hygiene students dedicated to building the ethical and educational future of our profession. Student membership provides you with the invaluable opportunity of previewing your career as a dental hygienist.

CHIP: Council for Health Interdisciplinary Participation
Students are eligible to participate in the activities of CHIP. All students in the Academic Health Center are members of CHIP. The organization publishes a newsletter, sponsors seminars, programs and social events. In addition, it is involved in community service, education and health care delivery. A student lounge is located in 1-425 Moos Tower (612-625-7100).
