Summary

Ms. Paulson originates from Toronto, Canada, where she graduated with a Degree in Dental Hygiene from Durham College in 2010. She practiced in general, pediatric, and orthodontic dentistry in Canada and the Cayman Islands for 6 years. While practicing she completed her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health through the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2015. She began her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Management Degree through the University of Minnesota and the Carlson School of Management in 2016. At that time, she began a graduate teaching assistantship providing clinical instruction to dental hygiene and dental therapy students.

After completion of her Master’s degree in 2018, she was offered a faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Professor, and Researcher at the University of Minnesota. Since then, she has earned her Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) Certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). Her role primarily includes conducting and coordinating a variety of research endeavors, and applying her knowledge and understanding of the conduct of clinical investigations involving humans to these studies. She also provides clinical education to dental hygiene and dental therapy students in the comprehensive care clinics at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry.
