Summary

Dr. Mills began his clinical professional career with the National Health Service Corps: he fulfilled a three-year obligation working as an associate dentist at the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis; he then served as the dental director there until 2001. In 1997, Dr. Mills began a career as associate clinical specialist at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he instructed in Oral Medicine and Diagnosis, in Radiology, and in Immediate Care; where he served as interim director of the Division of Comprehensive Care; and where he is currently a group leader of the Comprehensive Care Clinic. In addition to teaching at the School of Dentistry, Dr. Mills was an associate dentist at Valley Dental Group of Golden Valley for 11 years. He has also been a faculty member at the Native American Community Clinic dental outreach site on-going since 2010, and the presiding examiner of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) on-going since 2009. He is currently a Working Committee Member of the National Dental Licensure Objective Structured Clinical Examination (DLOSCE).
