Summary

Kelli Blankenship earned her bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and Kinesiology Exercise Science at the University of Minnesota. She is currently in the process of working on her master's degree in Dental Hygiene Education at the University of Minnesota. Since 2015, she has been providing comprehensive team-based care at the School of Dentistry working in collaboration with faculty, staff, dental, dental hygiene, and dental therapy students. She also has clinical experience in specialty practice working in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Cleft Palate.

Since 2014, Ms. Blankenship has been certified in restorative expanded functions, local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation. She is one of the laboratory instructors for two courses, Dental Hygiene Care Process: Clinical Applications I and Biomaterials and Principles of Restorative Techniques I. She is a color group director for dental hygiene and dental therapy students and serves as the faculty advisor for the Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA) to support and empower our future dental hygienists.
