Summary
Ms. Ahmann graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1978. She completed her Baccalaureate degree in Dental Hygiene Education at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Ahmann began her teaching career at Normandale Community College Dental Hygiene Program and taught there for 12 years. During her time at Normandale she completed her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructional systems at the University of Minnesota. In 2000, Ms. Ahmann took a teaching position at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in the Division of Dental Hygiene. She continued on as a part time faculty until 2006 when she took on the role of Clinic Director for the Division of Dental Hygiene. In 2018 Lisa stepped down as DH Clinic Director. In addition to teaching didactic courses in the Undergraduate and Graduate programs, Ms. Ahmann provides academic technology support to the Division of Dental Hygiene. She teaches dental hygiene, dental and dental therapy students.
