What do you want to be when you grow up? It is a big question that we have all encountered  countless times throughout our childhood and adolescence. Some seem to have an answer to this  question right away. For many others, answering this question is a daunting and impossible task.

Stephen Shuman, DDS, MS, FGSA, professor, director of the Division of Hospital and Special Care Dentistry and director of the Oral Health Services for Older Adults Program in the School of Dentistry, was the 2024 Guest of Honor for the Minneapolis District Dental Society (MDDS) on April 15.

Yvette Reibel, EdD, LDH, assistant professor of dental hygiene, received an Institute of Health Community Service Grant through the American Dental Hygienists Association for her work with adopted children and those in foster care.
