Assael installed as Chair of 2017-2018 ADEA Board of Directors

Leon A. Assael, DMD, a professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, was named Chair of the 2017-2018 ADEA Board of Directors during the meeting of the ADEA House of Delegates in Long Beach, California, in March 2017.

Assael served as School of Dentistry Dean from 2012 to 2016.

Additionally at the House of Delegates meeting, School of Dentistry Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Keith A. Mays, DDS, MS, PhD, was elected to a three-year term as Board Director for Sections and Heather J. Conrad, DMD, MS, FACP, FRCD(C), Associate Professor and Director of Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, was elected to a three-year term as Board Director for Hospitals and Advanced Education Programs.
