Residency pediatric clinic teams with Portico Healthnet

The University of Minnesota Pediatric Dental Clinic, Made Possible by Delta Dental of Minnesota [LINK], with administrative and financial support from the School of Dentistry, began a dental care partnership with Portico Healthnet, a Saint Paul nonprofit health and human service organization. This partnership has fostered shared processes and responsibilities for offering free dental care to uninsured pediatric Portico Healthnet clients.

The University of Minnesota Pediatric Dental Clinic houses the School of Dentistry’s Advanced Specialty Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry. The clinic is fully integrated with the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, features 14 chairs, and offers comprehensive dental care for all children and adolescents, including well and medically compromised patients, and those who need additional care due to physical or developmental disabilities.
